Career: I have worked in the veterinary field for over 17 years. I began my career as a student then got hired after finishing my externship from Pima Medical School. During my career I worked my way up from vet assistant to technician, then lead surgical technician to lead technician. I decided to take the next step in my career and applied for a Practice Manager position at American Animal Hospital.
Personal Life: Family man 100. I’ve been married to my wife for 11 happy years and I’m a dad of two beautiful children.
Fun facts about me: I have been playing drums longer than I’ve been in the veterinary field. I also became a social media “influencer” when my carnivorous plant terrariums went viral.

Whether it’s carving through snow on a snowboard, cruising on a skateboard, or exploring nature through hiking, I am always seeking new thrills. The beach holds a special place in my heart, especially when I’m accompanied by my fiancé’s Labrador Retriever. My academic journey at Cal Poly SLO culminated in a bachelor’s degree in animal science, further fueling my dedication to caring for a diverse range of creatures. From horses and lambs to cats, dogs, reptiles, and fish, I find fulfillment in nurturing and safeguarding all species under my care.

I hail from diverse roots, born at the Navy hospital in Balboa and predominantly raised in California, where I spent the majority of my formative years. However, my childhood was marked by an adventurous stint in the Philippines for two years. Later, my journey took me across various states within the United States during my time in the Army, and I also had the privilege of serving in Kaiserslautern, Germany for two and a half years, adding rich layers to my life experiences. Transitioning into civilian life, I found my calling in the veterinary field, dedicating myself to the care of animals for over three and a half years now. Beyond my professional endeavors, my interests span a wide spectrum, from rigorous calisthenic workouts to nurturing dogs, indulging in the art of singing and karaoke, swimming, boxing, hitting the gym, immersing myself in the world of musicals, unwinding in a hot tub, gaming, embracing the tranquility of the beach, exploring nature through hiking, and an array of other passions that continually enrich my life.

When I was younger my family had all kinds of pets and even a couple farm animals, so I’ve grown to love and care for all animals like they’re my own. My passion for animal care began at age 16 when I started volunteering and fostering kittens for my local shelter. I started working in this field 6 months ago after becoming certified in veterinary assisting. In my free time I like to sing and make music, hike, and go thrifting.
